About Jason Hawkins
Jason is a full time professional illustrator specializing in gouache, oil and digital techniques. His work is a direct reflection of his personality. Jason has been working in the children's book and editorial market since graduating from Portfolio Center in 2008. The process he uses begins with the drawing of simple shapes, then making changes until he is satisfied with the character's overall design. Sophisticated color and subtle changes in light and form are the processes used to achieve such a dynamic look.
